passionate about supporting you.

Coming to therapy whether for the first time or the time after that can be a daunting step… and this is completely understandable as you’re sharing some very personal stuff! So it’s very reasonable that you’d want to know a bit more about me.

I like to work with my clients with care and compassion by providing a safe space to promote healing and growth. Each one of us is unique - with our own story, and differ in ways that we think, feel, behave, and process information; what works for one person may not work for another. Using a person-centred approach I use a blend of therapeutic strategies (Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy).

Having worked in organisations with a primary focus on emotional wellbeing and health since 2006 in various positions, as well as corporate and educational settings, I have a passion for supporting the mental wellbeing of people from different walks of life.

I have supported my clients with issues related to:

  • Anxiety and Depression

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism, HSP, Learning disabilities)

  • Cultural identity, family of origin, and family dynamics

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Study or work-related stress

  • Life transitions

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma

  • Relationships and family dynamics

  • Chronic health and pain

Alongside my training and experience, my approach is grounded in compassion, culturally responsive and neuroaffirming care. As someone who came to understand their own neurodivergence later in life, I appreciate what it’s like to navigate the world feeling different. This has helped me to bring a non-judgemental approach - meeting you where you are, with respect for your story, identity, and space for you to truely be yourself.

Developing more clarity and insight helps us to gain a better understanding of ourselves so that we can be more at peace within as well as in our relationship with others.

Let’s connect - Counselling sessions are available online/telehealth or in person in Ryde, Sydney.

Outside of therapy, you’ll likely find me…

doing something creative, cooking up a storm, on the search for a delicious pastry, at the farmers market, or spending time with family, friends, and my goofy Labrador.

Seeking self-understanding empowers and restores relationships - both with yourself and others.
